ONE KILO OF "SPAGHETTI FRUTTI DI MARE" FOR DAN-E-MC...
Always in Italy, but from San Pellegrino, the famous Dan-E-Mc put trouble in this cool water-place shouting his Housemachine. A radio show that he sends to a lot of FM radio stations from Melbourne until Tegucigalpa. Big winner of being the coolest dj of the millennium, Dan-E-Mc looks like Don Camillo, talks like Coluche and got so much records like the Masters At Work... This is a detail that can have an importance in front of a dancefloor, more than the other two. Regularly invited where vocal house makes women going crazy, he is coming back hard to Switzerland in these days. A scene that he has done a lot for, from the beginning of the '90. From radio M40 until the first events in Geneva, a lot of people remember that he told he would be play nude. A menace he has never done, thing that his gay side of fans regretted a lot, but always going mad for his dj sets. Here we are in front of a cool guy that loves to be funny, but he never plays funny records (not like some of his collegues). Always before of any promos, Dan-E-Mc has friends considered artists like Don Carlos, Giampiero Mendola, Camacho or Ivan Iacobucci. A good pair a old djs that totalise more hours of djing than all the French Touch together. For listening to them don't touch your transistor. You need only some "clics", time to arrive to housemachine.com, the virtual residency of these pioneers always ready.

The first double album of the creator of "The voice of house music"
This is not a simple compilation mixed by a dj, but a real album containing 24(!) new original tracks done with true musicians, artists, singers and international vocalists. Under Dan-E-Mc (20 year old dj)'s musical Direction you can find important names like the hispano-swiss VIP David Cunado, video-jockey on "Garage" at Télévision Suisse Romande, show-man, actor, radio speaker and "free-style" singer that appears in this work in different languages (French-English-Spanish) in a pure style "soul", but there are also sessions done by the Italian ones like Lele LTJ, the master of percussions that normally works in "hip" clubs all over Europe and now present also in this opera with a lot of his sounds, Michele Gentilini the funky-guitar, Orlandi at sax (both musical professors in Bergamo) and Manlio Cangelli (synthesizer). This one was a guy of Scotch group (the gold period of Italo-Disco) and now also the Producer of this product on his new label, called MC Harmony Records. For being more international, Dan-E-Mc wanted in this opera the complicity of his French friend from Annecy, Stone Willis, a dj and producer with the passion of house music done in the "old skool" way, the performance of Desiree (from Malaysia, but resident now in Italy) that has a sung voice like Lisa Stansfield and a spoken one like Grace Jones, "Marcie" Marzia vocalist from Washington D.C., CeeJay Mc vocalist from New York and, "last but not least" his girl-friend Sandrine K for the intro and outro of the album in different languages with a "déjà vu" and already heared sound where she explains how they met us (she, customer of a club in Geneva and he, dj). At the end, listening to these cds with the contribution of all this kind of mixed people under the training of Dan-E-Mc, we have the impression of entering in a real chic party with conviviality everywhere, where the funky music, chill-out and acid-jazz becomes more house and garage, for going down from house to chill. All of that in more than 2 hours of music. This opus is very representative of the real kind of music played by Dan-E-Mc during his gigs, especially when he is invited for private events (villas, luxurius hotel, castles, etc...). Then, we must say that from his young age (12, when he did his first gig), his musical evolution was always very "soul" orientated and you can feel it in this work... From his clubbing period in Geneva (Ancien Palais, CPM, By-Pass, etc...) until the new address in Italy that gave him the opportunity to become a globe-trotter, following his House Machine radio show fans all over the globe, this album is a resumee (in many moods) of the travelling experiences and international meetings of this Italian guy that always has a planetary vision. Finally, this album has the right name. "Many moods of a DJ". Soon on your shops.

The come back of House Machine's creator
Out on 2006, Many moods of a dj has surprised everybody. This album has been appreciated by all his dj collegues and played by a lot of European hip bars during their pre-parties. Also the famous Baileys has used a track of this opus for its Italian national radio advertising campaign. The French talent-scout called Shaft (Shaft Music / Hit Sound Productions - Producer of Tribal King, the hip-hop group number 1 record sold in France in 2006) came back to Dan-E-Mc thanks to this double cd and they promised theirselves to work together on productions in the near future. The new album Attitude has 21 tracks, a running time of more than 77 minutes, is co-produced by this guy plus Manlio Cangelli, a figure of the historical group of the Golden years of Italo-Disco, called Scotch. This opus is signed by his record label MC Harmony Records. Under musical Direction of Dan-E-Mc you can hear a lot of important people like David Cunado, VIP and tv figure in Switzerland, the musical professors of Centro Didattico di Produzione Musica in Bergamo (Italy), a musical professor of Conservatorio in Rovigo (Italy), Emphasisound the group, MC Harmony staff and new artists like BW. After that, for all tracks that must have the right House Groove of the '90, Dan-E-Mc has worked on tracks with his old friends like Stone Willis of Annecy in France (dj and producer that loves the house sound "old skool") and DJ Ortega with who he organised a lot of event during his young age. "Each kind of music has its own attitude", said Dan-E-Mc. And this album confronts different styles of music, but each one in a puritain way. We begin with the happiest way of doing house music, than in the more garage way, than more soul, more underground until we change all and we enter in the Funky roots of Dan-E-Mc... Than the cd becomes more Fusion, Soul & Jazzy and goes on with a rap "for intellects" and goes away with quality chill-out and lounge stuff with the slow, at the end, that smells like champagne ! All of that in a decrescendo way that is a speciality of the author. Finally, this cd is a resumee of all differents styles (or, better: attitudes) of his musical background. The remixes of single tracks of this album will be done also by the famous French dj Didier Vanelli, who will print on his label Deepfull records any of the best Soulful Garage tracks of this album.

Après les surprenants 'Many Moods of a DJ' (Mc Harmony records) dont un titre avait été choisi par Baileys pour sa campagne publicitaire radiophonique nationale italienne, et 'Attitude' (Mc Harmony records), qui avait triplé ses ventes, et dont on se souvient du titre d'Emphasisound 'Babylon' (remixé par le DJ Didier Vanelli), le troisième opus de Dan-E-MC, 'Blasé!' (Mc Harmony records) rassemblait de nombreux remixes des précédents albums et plusieurs inédits dans un style toujours résolument House.
Le 4ème album (en 4 ans !), 'Rara Eleganza' (produit étroitement avec DJ Didier Vanelli) joue dans un registre encore plus classieux et raffiné, à tous les niveaux. Dan-E-Mc:
'Après la période de 'réflexion philosophico-musicale' des précédents albums et la sortie en Italie de mon livre 'Dubbi Notturni (un dj in cerca di etica)' (Editions Statale11.it), je voulais parcourir une autre voie et il me semble que durant une période comme celle que nous vivons aujourd'hui, où la médiocrité est louée outre mesure, on ressente le besoin du retour aux éléments de qualité. J'ai effectué une recherche en ce sens, au niveau artistique, et sans compromis!
'Au programme : du bon son House teinté de Funk et de Disco (façon Garage Soulful), quelques plages sensuelles ('Time'), et chill-house dont l'artiste a le secret. Avec en bonus, un 'Remake Live' d'un célèbre titre de Gap Band, 'précurseur' de la future collaboration artistique entre l'artiste et le nouveau groupe italien Funky Nostra. L'album sort fin octobre sur le label historique italien Molto Recordings et sera distribué dans le monde par Self.it. La promotion en France sera réalisée par Shaft Music à Nice. Les fans de House-music connaissent bien son nom, synonyme de qualité depuis une bonne vingtaine d'années : Dan-E-MC, DJ-producteur transalpin, initiateur du fameux programme radio House Machine, est de retour avec un cinquième album 'Man of Honour' signé chez Molto Recordings (Universal Music Italia). Un nouvel opus qui place la barre encore plus haut - comme si cela était possible - après le magnifique (et bien nommé) 'Rara Eleganza'. 15 titres du meilleur cru en matière de soulful/funky house, avec la participation de grands noms de la House, notamment la Diva 'Garage' Kathy Brown sur 'Take me High'** (le tout premier single), Michael Procter sur 'Can't get over U'* et Vanessa Jay Mulder (sur 'Saturday', 'Summer Night', 'Freakin', et 'Stop' soul/funk avec sax jazzy), mais aussi Sam Wood ('U could'*) et Master Freez (sur le soul/funk 'Stupid Cupid'*). Sans parler des variations house-funky du Maître ('God made me funky'* et 'Riccione'*), et de son final ambient-soul, limite orgasmique ('Gentle Exit'*). Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, l'album est livré dans un superbe double pack incluant le 2ème livre de Dan-E-MC (en Italien), et un CD de remixes du meilleur de 'Rara Eleganza': le top soulfull 'Believe' remixé par Harley & Muscle**, Jamie Lewis, et revisité tribal par Stefano Amalfi & Robbie Groove*, 'Freak your body' (feat. Lady B & Ash) revu par Bobby & Steve, mais aussi Alex Dimitri, et deux petits bijoux de Didier Vanelli* qui remixe dans ce style très estival qu'on adore 'Sexy Fantasy', et un 'test press mix' de 'The Jazz'* absolument brillant. Cerise sur le gâteau, façon bonus track, la dernière collaboration artistique de Dan-E-MC 'Change your life', plus acid-jazz, avec le groupe Duspaghifunk. A ce niveau-là, difficile de trouver les mots : magistral... énorme... jubilatoire... C'est en tout cas un carton plein, et la démonstration indéniable d'une vraie Référence mondiale.
